Packed Tower / Scrubber

Packed Towers and Scrubbers are used for gas absorption, stripping, and wet scrubbing of process off-gases to remove HCl, SO2, NH3, HF, and other pollutants and recover valuable chemicals.

Key Features

• Random packing (Pall rings, Raschig rings) or structured packing (Sulzer, Koch)
• Liquid distributor and re-distributor at calculated heights
• Mist eliminator at top for entrainment separation
• Construction: SS 316, FRP (for strong acid/alkali), PP, HDPE
• Sump with level measurement for scrubbing liquor inventory
