Glass-Lined Reactors offer the corrosion resistance of glass with the mechanical strength of carbon steel. The 3.5mm thick borosilicate glass lining provides excellent resistance to nearly all inorganic and organic acids.

3.5mm borosilicate glass lining conforming to DIN EN 14364
Suitable for strongly acidic, alkaline, and highly corrosive media
Glass-coated anchor or impeller agitator with PTFE gland seal
Spark test and holiday detection on all lined surfaces
PTFE or FKM gaskets on all nozzles
Half-coil external jacket for heating/cooling (steam/thermal oil)

Applications

Acid chloride reactions, sulfonation, halogenation, nitration, dye and pigment manufacturing, agrochemical synthesis, corrosive pharmaceutical intermediates.
