Cryogenic Storage Tanks are double-wall vacuum-insulated pressure vessels designed for the safe storage of cryogenic liquids at temperatures ranging from -40°C (LCO2) to -196°C (liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid argon).

Key Features

• Double-wall construction: SS 304 inner vessel + CS outer jacket, vacuum space between walls
• Insulation: vacuum perlite (VPI) or vacuum multi-layer insulation (VMLI) for superior thermal performance
• Safety: outer shell rupture disc + safety valve; inner vessel safety valve
• Normal evaporation rate (NER): typically <0.2% per day for large tanks
• Pressure building coil for self-pressurization of liquid withdrawal
• ASME/PESO approval for LOX/LN2/LCO2 service in India
