Crude Oil Storage Tanks are large atmospheric storage vessels used at oil production facilities, pipeline terminals, and refineries for bulk storage of crude oil and petroleum products.

Design Options

  • Fixed Cone Roof (FCR): For low-volatility products; welded cone roof with venting
  • External Floating Roof (EFR): For high-volatility crude to minimise evaporation losses
  • Internal Floating Roof (IFR): FCR with internal pontoon floating roof for additional vapour space reduction

Key Features

  • API 650 Appendix F (seismic), Appendix E (floating roof), Appendix J (internal floating roof)
  • Bottom plate with corrosion-resistant coating; cathodic protection system
  • Level measurement: servo gauge, radar, or float-tape gauge
Capacity / Size Range 1,00,000L – 10,00,00,000L
