Inoculum Vessel

Inoculum Vessels (seed vessels) are used in the upstream bioprocessing pipeline to grow and scale up microbial or mammalian cultures before transfer to production bioreactors.

Key Features

• Ring sparger for aeration/oxygenation with adjustable airflow
• Rushton turbine or marine impeller for gentle but effective mixing
• Integrated probes: Dissolved Oxygen (DO), pH, temperature, foam
• SIP (Steam In Place) sterilizable design with all dead legs eliminated
• Exhaust gas condenser to minimize evaporative losses
• Inoculation port with flame shield or septum inlet

Microbial fermentation scale-up (E. coli, yeast, fungi), mammalian cell culture seeding, recombinant protein production, vaccine manufacturing upstream processes.
